Bridget Longtin graduated from Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in May 2016 with a concentration in piano. She was part of the honors program, graduated cum laude, and also obtained a minor in philosophy. She is currently working in the “Music and More” Store as the full-time manager, and will also be teaching piano and cello one evening a week.
From fourth grade until she graduated high school, Bridget participated in the GMTA Regional Music Competition for piano and consistently advanced to the state level. She also participated in Festival and consistently got the “superior” rating. During college, she majored in piano, which gave her numerous opportunities to perform. Bridget taught piano privately in conjunction with school for her last two years, holding recitals each fall and spring.
She was also part of her orchestra program in her high school, where she quickly moved to the advanced orchestra and became first chair during her junior year. During this time, she was part of a string quartet composed of the principal chairs of each section, and they played at various events ranging from dinners to art showings. During college, she played cello for the Music Ministry at her school parish consistently for her first year, and then played per request for the next three.
Bridget has returned to her home town of Kennesaw, being a high school graduate of North Cobb High School. She's excited to invest in the students of Cobb County and promote music/music ministry through investing her talents at The Harmony House. When Bridget is not at work, she enjoys hiking, reading, playing board games, and having intellectual conversations.
