Cory received a B.A. in Guitar Performance from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2010. Cory taught multiple students in Savannah while finishing school. He enjoys teaching guitar, bass, banjo, and mandolin. He has played with multiple contemporary and church bands in Atlanta and the South East. He played guitar for the AASU Jazz ensemble and was hired to play the large piece.
Having been a musician for several years, he can teach multiple genres from jazz, to rock and classical, in solo/finger, accompaniment, and improvisational styles.
A main objective is instructing students in how to further educate themselves to become prepared for playing with groups or individually. He also includes theory-based lessons relevant to the interests of the student. He will teach beginners thru advanced students at ‘any’ age, claiming that “it’s never too early or late to start learning”.
